Road bridge La Resgia, Ramosch GR

 

A milestone in modern timber bridge construction. The modern design of covered timber bridges for heavy road loads. Built in 1990 with a total carriageway length of almost 50 m and an arch span of approx. 45 m. Frame corners made out of timber, hardwood supporting members, laterally pre-stressed and glued timber carriageway, large glulam beams and state of the art connection technology are a few keywords from the presented object.
