Apartment building, 6-storey, Lugano

Construction of a 6-storey apartment building in Lugano city. Basement floor and foundations in concrete. Supporting structure designed with cross-laminated timber for vertical and horizontal loads. Load-bearing ceilings and walls made out of five-layered CLT elements with thicknesses ranging from 120 up to 180 mm. Single CLT bracing walls up to 240 mm thickness.
